Propel, a software company that provides a product value management platform for manufacturers, has launched Manufacturing Hub as part of its Summer 2026 release. The new capability connects product lifecycle management (PLM) with 12 ERP platforms, allowing data affected by an engineering change order (ECO) to be transferred to an ERP system after the change is approved.
The integration is designed to address the transfer of information between engineering and production. Manufacturing Hub sends affected items, bills of materials (BOMs), manufacturer parts and supplier data to the ERP system following an approved ECO, reducing the need for manual data re-entry between the two environments.
The platform supports ERP systems including NetSuite, SAP, Oracle JD Edwards and Microsoft Dynamics, and can be used with environments hosted on-premises or in the cloud. It also supports companies operating with one or multiple ERP platforms.
Manufacturing Hub records data transfers to provide traceability for audit requirements. According to Propel, the capability supports FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and ISO 9001 compliance requirements. The recorded information can also be used to trace issues back to their source.
The new capability also supports data moving in the opposite direction. Operational information such as component costs, lead times and supplier status can be transferred from the ERP system back into Propel and added to the engineering record.

Our approach is to enable a truly bidirectional product thread where operational data like component costs, lead times, and supplier status flows from the ERP back into Propel to enrich the engineering record. Teams should be building great products, not managing integrations."
The integration technology behind Manufacturing Hub comes from Razorleaf, Propel's technology partner. Razorleaf's CLOVER platform also supports Propel Design Hub integrations with product data management (PDM) systems. With Manufacturing Hub, the partnership now extends the integration between engineering systems and ERP environments.
The Summer 2026 release is currently available.
