Informatica, a data management software provider operated by customer relationship management company Salesforce, has expanded its integration with Google Cloud, the cloud computing network developed by technology provider Google.
Announced at the Informatica World 2026 conference, the software vendor deployed its conversational artificial intelligence assistant directly into the cloud platform. The update allows users to access the CLAIRE GPT tool within the Google environment.
The CLAIRE GPT application allows data teams to interact with their systems through natural language prompts. Users can execute queries to discover information assets, enrich metadata, assess data quality and resolve governance issues. The system reduces manual search tasks and multistep workflows into single text prompts. The software is generally available as part of the Spring 2026 release cycle.
Alongside the cloud deployment, Informatica added support for the Agent2Agent protocol. Developed by Google, the Agent2Agent framework functions as an open interoperability standard that allows software agents from different vendors to communicate. The integration connects Informatica data management agents with applications built on Gemini Enterprise. Developers can trigger the CLAIRE agents within their workflows to access governed enterprise data layers without building custom integrations.
The protocol adoption aligns with earlier ecosystem integration by Salesforce, which participated as a launch partner during the initial release of the Google interoperability standard.
“These announcements reflect our shared commitment to making enterprise AI more accessible, trustworthy, and interoperable,” said Rik Tamm-Daniels, VP of Ecosystem and Technology Alliances at Informatica. “With CLAIRE GPT native to Google Cloud and A2A protocol support, Informatica agents become collaborative participants in the broader Agentic Enterprise, reinforcing our role as the data foundation for AI and our commitment to headless data management, wherever customers choose to build.”
“The future of enterprise AI relies on open, interconnected ecosystems where agents can seamlessly collaborate using trusted data,” said Satish Thomas, VP of Applied AI and Platform Ecosystem at Google Cloud. “Our deepened partnership with Informatica will empower customers to build multi-agent workflows with Gemini Enterprise that are rooted in enterprise-grade data management.”
Insurance provider CNA Insurance utilizes both platforms to manage its corporate information.
“As a Google Cloud and Informatica customer, we’re excited to see these new innovations become available,” said Gaganpreet Randhawa, AVP of Enterprise Architecture at CNA Insurance. “AI requires a foundation of trusted data with rich context to succeed, and the ability to readily access this data within agentic workflows is crucial.”
Business intelligence firm Dun & Bradstreet operates as both a customer and partner in the data management ecosystem.
“As both a customer and partner of Google Cloud and Informatica, we see firsthand the power of bringing these capabilities together,” said Gary Kotovets, Chief Data and Analytics Officer at Dun & Bradstreet. “Ensuring our verified data is available where and when it’s needed to power agentic workflows will enable organizations to drive real outcomes.”
