Oracle NetSuite announced at SuiteConnect São Paulo 2026 the launch of NetSuite Next, a new generation of the NetSuite platform that embeds artificial intelligence directly into ERP workflows to automate operations, enhance analytics, and transform user interaction with enterprise systems.
The launch reflects Oracle NetSuite’s broader strategy to evolve ERP from a system primarily focused on transaction recording and process monitoring into an action-oriented platform centered on automation, operational intelligence, and predictive capabilities.
According to Evan M. Goldberg, founder and executive vice president of Oracle NetSuite, the long-term goal is to make ERP increasingly invisible to end users by automating operational tasks still handled manually today.
“Our vision is for NetSuite to run more in the background over time, handling much of the accounting, tracking shipments, and managing activities that previously required manual verification,” Goldberg said.
NetSuite Next adds conversational AI to ERP workflows
One of the main announcements was a new conversational interface powered by natural language, allowing users to query business data, navigate the platform, and execute actions without relying on traditional menus or workflow structures.
The interface is contextual, delivering responses tailored to each user’s role and operational requirements. While presenting the new experience, Goldberg emphasized a shift away from conventional ERP interfaces.
“Humans evolved to speak, not to pull menus and drag and drop,” he said.
The company also introduced the SuiteAgent Framework, an intelligent agent architecture designed to proactively execute tasks across enterprise operations.
Capabilities include:
operational monitoring
anomaly detection
root cause analysis
financial workflow automation
continuous accounting close initiatives
Oracle NetSuite additionally unveiled the AI Connector Service, built on Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling organizations to securely integrate external assistants into the ERP environment to expand analytics and operational workflows.
Oracle NetSuite positions AI as the next ERP interface
According to Gustavo Moussalli, senior vice president of Oracle NetSuite Latin America, the company’s AI strategy is built around operational context and embedded business data.
“The best artificial intelligence comes from the best data. Our AI is contextual and embedded within the NetSuite environment to generate more relevant insights,” Moussalli said.
Bruno Prodocimo, head of sales for Oracle NetSuite Latin America, said AI is also changing how organizations access enterprise information.
“AI makes big data accessible. Companies no longer need to build complex database queries to access information; natural language becomes the business interface,” he said.
NetSuite customers share enterprise transformation use cases
SuiteConnect São Paulo 2026 also featured customer sessions and digital transformation case studies from organizations using the platform across healthcare, education, sports, and services sectors.
NetSuite Next is expected to become available in preview within the next 12 months.
According to Oracle NetSuite, the new capabilities will be activated directly within the existing platform environment, eliminating the need for reimplementation or data migration for current customers.
