Reliance Matrix expands Employee Navigator integration for streamlined absence management

Reliance Matrix, a leading provider of employee benefits, absence management, and workforce productivity solutions backed by a top-rated insurance carrier, announced an expansion of its integration with Employee Navigator, a trusted benefits administration and HR software platform serving over 195,000 U.S. companies. This enhanced connection enables employers to support Absence Management through their existing Employee Navigator setup, eliminating the need to build and maintain a separate Leave eligibility file.

The enhancement allows employers implementing Reliance Matrix Absence Management solutions to leverage Employee Navigator's standard data feed to support Leave eligibility administration. By removing a separate eligibility file, employers can reduce implementation complexity, lower administrative effort, and accelerate deployment.

Historically, absence management implementations have required employers to create, map, test, and maintain a dedicated eligibility feed, often resulting in additional administrative and IT resources. Whether customers are implementing the integration for the first time or expanding an existing connection, Reliance Matrix can now leverage Employee Navigator data to generate the eligibility information required for Leave administration, removing a longstanding implementation hurdle. Reliance Matrix utilizes existing data coming from Employee Navigator alongside the limited data set from their payroll provider and merges them at no additional cost. The result is a streamlined implementation process that reduces manual effort, minimizes testing requirements, and eliminates the need for a separate Leave eligibility file.

The new capability also helps brokers simplify implementation for their clients by reducing data integration requirements, shortening implementation timelines, and accelerating onboarding.

"Employers want their benefits technology ecosystem to work together seamlessly," said Paula Hanson, AVP, Benefit Technology Solutions, Reliance Matrix. "By extending our Employee Navigator integration to support Absence Management, we're eliminating one of the most common implementation challenges associated with Leave administration. This allows employers and brokers to simplify onboarding, reduce administrative effort, and realize value faster."

The enhancement is the latest addition to Reliance Matrix's Employee Navigator integration strategy. Through a single Employee Navigator connection, employers can support self-bill administration, automated Evidence of Insurability (EOI) processing, and Leave eligibility administration, creating a more connected benefits and absence management experience.

"Our vision is to make benefits and absence administration easier by connecting the technologies employers already rely on," Hanson added. "By expanding the value of a single Employee Navigator integration, we're helping employers and brokers reduce complexity, streamline administration, and create a more unified experience across benefits and Leave management."
