Syspro integrates Nuvei payment processing directly into its ERP platform for manufacturers and distributors

Syspro, an ERP platform for manufacturing and distribution with nearly 50 years of experience in the sector and a customer base that ranges from family-owned businesses to large-scale manufacturers, has partnered with Nuvei, a global fintech company that provides payment infrastructure across more than 200 markets with local acquiring in 53 of them and support for over 720 alternative payment methods. The integration embeds payment processing directly into the Syspro system, allowing manufacturers and distributors to collect payments, update accounts receivable and track cash flow from within the same platform where they manage sales orders, inventory and operations.

The partnership addresses a long-standing disconnect in how manufacturing and distribution businesses handle payments. In most operations, the ERP manages orders and production while payments are processed through separate systems, creating manual reconciliation work, delays in fund collection and gaps in cash flow visibility. With the Nuvei integration, when a sales order is created in Syspro, the payment can be processed immediately within the same environment. Accounts receivable records update automatically and cash flow reporting reflects the transaction without requiring manual data entry or switching between platforms.

The technical connection works through Syspro's PayThem Payment Gateway, which now links to Nuvei's global payment infrastructure. This gives Syspro customers the ability to process payments in real time, reserve funds at the point of order creation to reduce exposure to non-payment, accept transactions across 150 currencies and more than 200 markets, and offer customers a self-service payment option that reduces time spent on invoice follow-up. The system supports B2B payment methods including ACH and bank transfers, and transactions are processed through a hosted payment page that meets PCI-DSS compliance requirements.

For finance teams, the practical effect is that payment data flows directly into the ERP rather than arriving separately and requiring reconciliation after the fact. This gives operations and finance staff a current view of the company's cash position without assembling it from multiple sources.

"Our customers want solutions that reflect how their businesses actually run," said Johan du Toit, SVP Strategic Growth at Syspro. "Payments are a critical part of that, but they've often been disconnected from the ERP. This partnership brings them back into the core system, helping customers collect funds faster, reduce manual effort, and operate with greater control."

Nuvei is listed as Syspro's preferred payment partner on the Syspro Marketplace, and existing customers can activate the integration within their current ERP environment.

"For manufacturers and distributors, payments need to operate as part of the business, not as a disconnected process," said Phil Fayer, Nuvei Chair & CEO. "By partnering with Syspro, we're bringing our global payments infrastructure directly into the ERP systems these businesses rely on every day. That means they can operate across markets with the local performance, visibility, and control they need to scale."
