Creative teams often begin with individual software subscriptions, free applications or shared accounts, but growing workloads can expose operational gaps when assets, approvals and files are spread across disconnected systems. Dax Data has launched Creative Cloud Standard for Teams across South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Mauritius and Ghana with a focus on smaller teams looking to move away from fragmented creative workflows.

The offering is available to new customers using Adobe software and targets teams purchasing between two and nine licences. According to Dax Data, eligible customers can access Adobe’s Creative Cloud Standard for Teams at discounts of up to 50% compared with Creative Cloud Pro for Teams pricing. Companies currently operating with individual subscriptions can also migrate to team licences.

Dax Data, a technology distributor operating across African markets, says the launch addresses operational issues that emerge when creative teams scale without shared infrastructure for assets and workflows. Common challenges cited by the company include missed deadlines caused by duplicated work, slower turnaround times linked to fragmented approvals and growing difficulty managing ownership of creative assets.

"Creative Cloud Standard for Teams brings together the professional applications creatives already rely on with the team capabilities that make collaboration easier — shared workflows, pooled storage and centralised management. At up to 50% off Creative Cloud Pro for Teams, it's a genuinely accessible way for small teams to work more cohesively”, says Dax Data CEO, Dominic Richardson.

Adobe’s Creative Cloud Standard for Teams combines more than 20 creative applications across desktop, web and mobile with features intended for collaborative work environments. Shared storage, Creative Cloud Libraries and administrative controls are included through Adobe’s Admin Console, allowing teams to manage licences and access through a single contract structure.

The package also includes standard generative AI capabilities intended to automate repetitive creative tasks and shorten production cycles for routine work. According to Dax Data, the aim is to give smaller creative departments a path away from manual processes and isolated tools without requiring them to adopt enterprise scale licensing structures.

The company says the product was designed for businesses looking to replace temporary workarounds with workflows that can support larger teams and higher content volumes as operations expand.
