Factorial expands HR software across Southern Africa

Factorial, a global company that develops cloud based HR and business management software, is expanding its operations across the Southern African Development Community (SADC) through a network of regional partners. The initiative targets both small and medium sized businesses and large enterprises that want to replace disconnected HR tools and manual processes with a unified platform.

Across the region, many organizations continue to rely on separate systems that make it harder for IT teams to manage software, control costs and maintain consistent HR data. Factorial says its expansion is intended to support companies as they consolidate their technology environments while giving HR departments access to a single system for workforce management.

“Many organizations in Southern Africa continue to struggle in terms of productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness due to fragmented processes,” said Francesc Rul·lan, Director of Expansion Strategy & Partnerships at Factorial. “In order to accelerate digital transformation and unlock productivity gains, the adoption of modern technology in HR is essential. Our goal is to shift HR from a purely administrative function to the intelligence layer of the business, whether you are managing a team of 50 or scaling beyond 2,000 employees.”

The platform combines HR and business management functions in one cloud environment. Its features include an AI agent that automates tasks such as leave approvals and shift scheduling while generating predictive analytics and real time reports. Factorial also integrates with Microsoft and Google workspaces as well as Microsoft Dynamics 365, allowing organizations to connect HR processes with existing productivity, ERP and payroll systems.

The software includes audit trails for compliance, tools to manage IT budgets and projects, automated expense reporting and functions that support recruiting, onboarding, performance management and digital learning. The company says the platform is built to support organizations ranging from smaller businesses to enterprises with more complex operating structures.

Factorial is supporting the regional rollout through local partners that provide implementation services, consulting and ongoing technical support. The expansion focuses on organizations across SADC member states that are replacing fragmented HR systems with cloud infrastructure while serving workforces ranging from 50 employees to more than 2,000.
