Smartsheet, the vendor behind an intelligent work management platform, signed a distribution agreement with QBS Software Africa. Operating as a QBS Technology Group company, the distributor will utilize its established channel network to introduce the vendor's software across the African market. The arrangement allows local resellers to offer the platform to regional enterprises managing larger teams and complex project portfolios.
Organizations face operational challenges as project requirements expand and workforces adopt distributed ways of working. To address these issues, the Smartsheet platform centralizes workflow data and resource planning into a single environment, ITWeb Africa reported. The software incorporates workflow automation alongside project portfolio management features to reduce reliance on disconnected enterprise applications. The system supports various operational units by integrating with existing software deployments to assist IT staff and client delivery groups.
The addition of the platform creates avenues for regional technology vendors to address customer demands for project visibility and operational efficiency.
